Everything Now Soundtrack: 2023 is shaping up to be an unprecedented breakout year for artist Sophie Wilde, as the star of the smash horror hit Talk to Me is set to star in Netflix’s new upcoming drama, Everything Now.
Originally known by the more vulgar title of The F**k It Bucket, Everything Now mirrors Wilde’s character in Talk to Me in various coincidental ways. Like her performance earlier in the year, Wilde will once again play a young teenager struggling with her identity and an intense list of mental health issues.
After struggling with these problems for most of her life, Wilde’s character, Mia Polanco, finally finds a support system in a group of friends she meets when she returns to school.
Release date of Everything Now
Everything Now is a British coming-of-age comedy-drama created by Ripley Parker for Netflix. All eight episodes of Season 1 premiered together on October 5, 2023.
The series follows 16-year-old Londoner Mia Polanco (Sophie Wilde), who returns to school after seven months in residential treatment for an eating disorder and sets out to reconnect with her friend group by working through a bucket list of teenage experiences she feels she has missed.
Netflix did not renew Everything Now beyond Season 1. Despite an early writers’ room for a possible second season, the cancellation was confirmed in April 2024, making the eight-episode run a complete, self-contained story.

Score & Music
Everything Now does not use a traditional single score composer. Instead, as the episode-by-episode song lists above show, the series leans on a large, carefully curated soundtrack of contemporary UK indie, dance, and hip-hop tracks (alongside a handful of older classics) to underscore Mia’s story — a music-forward approach common to British teen dramas of its era.
