Hannah Parrott is an American composer, arranger, and vocalist trained at Biola University’s Conservatory of Music. Before scoring After Death, she worked alongside veteran film composers James Horner, Thomas Newman, and Jacob Shea. For this film, Parrott recorded a full live orchestral score at Studio X in Seattle, and the work earned her a nomination for the SCL (Society of Composers & Lyricists) David Raksin Award for Best Original Score in a Documentary. The official soundtrack album also includes “In Heaven,” a song co-written and performed by worship artist Chris Quilala.
