Who Composed the Your Lucky Day Score?
Matt Hutchinson composed the original score. Hutchinson, also known for scoring Tuscaloosa (2020) and contributing additional music to Disney’s Earth to Ned, came onto Your Lucky Day early in production and had a rough draft of the score ready shortly after director Daniel Brown finished his first cut. In interviews, Hutchinson said he started composing from the scene where the winning ticket number is announced and the night goes sideways, using it as the anchor for the score’s overall tone of mounting, off-kilter suspense. The 19-track score album was released by Well Go USA alongside the film on November 10, 2023, and runs 53 minutes.
