Music Star Tori Kelly Hospitalized: Collapses Due to Blood Clots, Doctors in Action.
Tori Kelly is now in the hospital receiving treatment for blood clots around her essential organs, according to TMZ, and the condition is “really serious.”
Kelly fainted after having a racing heartbeat while out to dinner with friends in Los Angeles on Sunday night, according to TMZ, which first reported the event. After falling, she was reportedly “out for a while” before being taken to the hospital by friends.
According to TMZ, Tori’s friends wanted to make sure she was sent to Cedars-Sinai, one of the country’s best hospitals, rather than a hospital downtown, so they dragged her outside, put her into a vehicle, and sped to the hospital rather than calling an ambulance.
TMZ reported Tori is receiving care in the ICU, and doctors have identified clots in her legs and lungs… they’re still trying to figure out if there are any clots around her heart. Tori Kelly rose to prominence as a youngster thanks to her YouTube videos, and she made it to Hollywood Week of the ninth season of American Idol when she was 16 years old.
However, she was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2016 Grammy Awards and went on to win two Grammys in 2019 for her second album, “Hiding Place,” in the categories of Best Gospel Album and Best Contemporary Christian Album. and Best Gospel Performance/Song. She played Meena in the animated films “Sing” and “Sing 2.”
In June 2022, Tori Kelly addressed her lack of music releases.
“I see your comments 👀 & I get frustrated too bc I just wanna put this music out & tour again but unfortunately it’s not as simple as just releasing songs whenever I want,” she tweeted at the time.
