The Beatles Face Stiff Competition for Second Week at Number 1 with 'Now And Then'

Now And Then by John Lennon made history after maintaining its record number one, 54 years after the band’s previous chart-topper. Still, they faced some competition in the second week to maintain number one.

Before Lennon died in 1980, In 1970 he recorded a tape, in which he recorded a song and played a piano. In 1990, Lennon’s widow wife gave that tape to the band members including Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Sir Ringo Starr. Recently Paul in an interview commented on New Beatles Song Now and Then.

They made important changes in the tape and released that song in the memories of Lennon as a tribute.

Fab Four is number one now but it faces tough competition from US rapper Jack Harlow’s Lovin’ On Me (2) and Dua Lipa’s Kinetic Houdini (3), the official chart company announces, Fab Four have to face a difficult competition from both songs.

Olivia Rodrigo’s Can’t Catch Me Now is from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is at number 13 till this midweek, she is only 20 and has a strong point in her songs. She is an actress, singer, and songwriter. The prequel of Hunger Games releases on November 17.
