Spaceman Soundtrack: Directed by Johan Renck and written by Colby Day, Spaceman is an upcoming sci-fi drama film. It is scheduled to be released on March 1, 2024 by Netflix.

The film presents Jakub Procházka, who was an orphan child. His grandparents raised him in the Czech countryside, and he overcame the odds of becoming the country’s first astronaut.

The film stars include Carey Mulligan, Adam Sandler, Paul Dano, Isabella Rossellini, Sinead Phelps, John Flanders, and Petr Papánek.

Who composed the Spaceman Soundtrack?

Max Richter composed the music for the Spaceman. He is a composer and a pianist. He is best known for his Arrival (2016), The Leftovers (2014), and Ad Astra (2019).

He has composed many albums, and his solo albums include Memoryhouse (2002), The Blue Notebooks (2004), Songs from Before(2006), 24 Postcards in Full Colour (2008), Infra (2010), and others.

Max Richter said, “The visual language of the film really informs your musical decisions”

While composing the song for Spaceman, he added, “The visual texture, the way the light is, and the haptics of the images really tell me a lot about how the music should feel.

“The score’s palette is 1970s-period electronics that have been treated with ’70s effects – recorded on tape as they would have been recorded back then.

And then we have acoustic instrumentation that is mostly strings, some piano, and the strings we’ve done in two layers: a very closely mic-ed, intimate sound and also big-picture strings”
