Madonna Grooves wishes her debut record a “happy birthday” as Madonna is celebrating a special musical milestone!
On Thursday in a video she shared the queen of pop dances to her song, “Lucky Star,” and also celebrates 40 years of her self-titled first album.
Madonna added a caption to the post “To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!

“Madonna Grooves” was released in 1983 when she was 24. Along with “Lucky Star,” the album included the songs “Holiday,” “Borderline,” “I Know It” and “Physical Attraction.”
However last month she was hospitalized for a “serious bacterial infection” and recently she shared the post “on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life.”
In an Instagram message earlier this month, “positive energy, prayers, and words of healing and encouragement” as she continued to rest and recuperate.
“I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote in part.
Meanwhile, Madonna Grooves thanked her followers and friends in a post celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut album.
“To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!” she captioned her post.
“Thank you to all of my fans and friends! You must be my lucky stars too! And Happy 40th Birthday to my very first Album,” the 64-year-old added.
Madonna Grooves is currently delaying the North American leg of her “The Celebration Tour” and will begin the tour in Europe in October instead.
