Fever 333 Pays Tribute to Black History Month with New Single 'Ready Rock'

Fever 333: Here’s news of a brand new single from the band, which follows a single titled “Ready Rock” followed by the previous $Wing, released in June last year.

It is an upcoming album track, the latest single from the American band to be shared. Although the forthcoming release is unknown, it is estimated to be in 2024.

As a press release, “With this month (February) being Black History Month, ‘Ready Rock’ pays homage to black artists of the past that unequivocally built rock n’ roll into what it is today.

Fever brings light to the lineage of iconic rock sounds and sonics that have often gone uncredited to their proper black creators, with the assertion, Rock Music is Black Music,”

The song was produced by Fever 333, featuring Grammy Award-winning Beach Noise’s Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem, along with Glassjaw’s Justin Beck, as an early taste of the band’s upcoming second studio album, due later this year.

Combelles states: “We wanted to explore [Billy’s] message of ‘unapologetically being who you want to be’ with a flowing sequence seamlessly linking people together in one place, one energy and suspended in moments no one can take from them.”

More recently, it has appeared in a series of live shows in conjunction with Enter Shikari’s UK and European tour. However, the dates are set to continue until the end of the month, with it being released in some countries, including Munich, on February 18th.

Co-director Vincent Jacob adds: “Billy’s music is a reminder that all we have is now. We wanted to capture the urgency of that message but also the positive aspect of it. Yes, the future is uncertain, so why not try to enjoy the ride?”

It kicked off at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, but the tour’s highlight is tonight at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, finishing their UK and EU tour with Enter Shikari.

Febuary Tour Dates:

  • Sat 17 – LONDON – OVO Arena Wembley
  • Mon 19 – BRUSSELS – Ancienne Belgique
  • Wed 21 – PARIS – Le Bataclan

He shared the track ‘$wing,’ which dropped in May 2023 and is his first new music in three years.
