Drake has recently made a habit of attacking his fans’ decisions during his live gigs.
On July 26 when a fan threw their purse onstage during his concert at Madison Square Garden in New York on Wednesday night, the Toronto rapper had to say something.
“Why would you throw your purse up here? You don’t have a life?” he asked while holding the bag. “You don’t have, like, a life that you need to attend to? Your I.D. and s**t. Why would you throw this? This was a terrible idea. Here, take this back and continued.
You don’t have, like, work to go to tomorrow or something? Are you just throwing your purse up here and s**t? You really didn’t think that through, at all.”
“Locate this woman immediately,” Drake noted. TikToker Veronica Correia was identified as the individual who tossed her undergarment. Since she has been offered a role in Playboy.
On Wednesday, the God’s Plan rapper was delivering one of three sold-out gigs at Madison Square Garden in New York when he took a break to address the strange situation.
Drake slammed another fan who tossed a vaping device at him during the same run of gigs at the venue, claiming “No way you’re taking life seriously if you think I’m gonna pick this vape up and vape with you at the f**king Barclays Center.”
During Drake’s Madison Square Garden performance, the rapper also informed that his new album, For All the Dogs, is on its way.
“I will be back soon. I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some s**t. But until then, just know, you’re always with me and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you.
Every time I step in that booth, I hope I make you proud,” he told the crowd.
