Who Composed the Destroy All Neighbors Soundtrack

Ryan Kattner (aka Honus Honus) is best known as the frontman/songwriter of the cult band Man Man (Sub Pop, Anti- Records) and the indie supergroup Mister Heavenly (Sub Pop, Polyvinyl Records). Kattner is also a film/theatre composer, screenwriter, and actor — he plays the antagonist Caleb Bang Jansen in Destroy All Neighbors.

Brett Morris, credited on the podcast/improv show Comedy Bang Bang, co-composed the score with Kattner, covering everything from progressive-rock cues to Euro-trash EDM and 80s synth. Sub Pop Records released the 69-track Destroy All Neighbors (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) digitally on January 12, 2024, alongside a new Man Man song titled “Free.”

Note: An earlier version of this page mistakenly identified “Brett Morris” as the Australian rugby league footballer of the same name — that is a different person entirely. The Brett Morris who scored this film is the Comedy Bang Bang-affiliated musician and multi-instrumentalist who worked alongside Ryan Kattner.
