Ciara is officially going to be a mother of four soon. She Children revealed on October 37 (August 8) that she is expecting her third child with husband Russell Wilson and her fourth overall.
The news comes in the form of a cryptic Instagram video, which features Ciara standing beside an indoor pool, backlit so that only her shadow is visible. It is only when she turns that her baby bump is visible, confirming that Ciara is pregnant.
“You look at me like that again, we make another kid…,” she captioned the post, quoting lyrics from her new song “How We Roll” with Chris Brown. “You my heart I’m your rib’ 🥰😘❤️”
Including 9-year-old son Future Zaheer Wilburn, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé Future, the “One, Two Step” is already a mother of three. In 2016 after marrying Wilson, she and the Denver Broncos quarterback received daughter Sienna Princess in 2017 followed by son Win Harrison.
Asking Ciara on daytime television about having more kids in 2022, the pregnancy news means Wilson is getting exactly what he wanted. Shown last year while Ciara was filling in for Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres.
“I have a question for you. A serious question. Can we have more babies? It will be perfect. Just give me one more at least, you know what I mean?”
The announcement also came just four days after the release of “How We Roll”, meaning he shot the music video with Brown while she was pregnant. The song follows Ciara’s previous 2023 singles “Da Girls”, “Slow” with Jackson Wang, and “Get Loose” with Agnes Mo.
“I feel blessed. I feel like I’m just getting started at the same time,” she told Billboard. “To know that it was 20 years ago that I was just really, really ambitious… dreaming big, I envisioned that I’d be sitting somewhere like this 20 years later.”
A source spoke to People about how Ciara is doing during her fourth pregnancy, revealing she’s been very active.
“Ciara has been working and traveling all through her pregnancy. She shot the ‘How We Roll’ video while pregnant,” the source told. “She was dancing on set all day long for a full day’s shoot. It’s astonishing how much energy she has when she’s pregnant.
She’s one of those mothers who has energy throughout her whole pregnancy. She always calls her life organized chaos—but it’s organized chaos taking it up another notch. She loves being a mother so this is what she loves doing. This is what she has always wanted, and Russ too. They’ve always wanted a lot of kids.”
