Disney’s live-action Moana remake has a summer 2025 release date. In April, Hamilton was joined by Broadway director Thomas Kail to direct.
Dwayne Johnson, who voiced Maui in the original film, served as a spokesperson for the remake, he will also be reprising his role in the live-action version, while a new actor will play the lead role.
Recently Dwayne Johnson announced through Twitter that it was directly from Hawaii about the live-action reimagining of the Disney Animation film “Moana”.
Moana Soundtrack
Disney has confirmed that the remake of Moana will hit theaters on June 27, 2025. However, the Marvel Cinematic Universe films may be delayed.
Music of Moana Soundtrack
It’s unclear as of now if the Moana remake will feature any new music, but based on tracks from previous records from previous Disney live-action adaptations, it most likely will. Four new original songs and reimagined versions of the classic soundtrack from the May 2023 live-action The Little Mermaid.
What’s likely to happen is that we might get reimagined versions of “You’re Welcome” and “How Far I’ll Go” returning with Mark Mancina, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Olivia Foy composing the soundtrack.
Original Soundtrack of Moana
The soundtrack for this movie, titled Moana Soundtrack, is coming soon. The film is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2025, so the soundtrack is likely to be released around that time.
