Travis Scott’s latest album, UTOPIA, has set a record for the most first-day album streams on Apple Music in 2023.
However, Travis Scott‘s ‘UTOPIA’ is already breaking records, with Apple Music. While Spotify named it the most streamed record in 2023 on its first day with 128 million streams, and 79 million on its second day, which is more than any other rapper album’s first day in 2023.
Since its debut on Friday, the song has been poured over 330 million times on Spotify widely.
On 28 July released UTOPIA a 19-track dual album featuring such as Beyonce and Drake. The editors of Apple Music defined the record as “an extremely exciting album that combines stellar energy and experimental artistry.”
UTOPIA’s first-day listening stats topped those of previous 2023 successful releases, such as Taylor Swift‘s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). This achievement is especially noteworthy in light of Scott’s ability to live up to the anticipation and hype surrounding the album, which was released five years after Scott’s breakout hit ASTROWORLD.
CIRCUS MAXIMUS, directed by Travis Scott and starring Gaspar Noe, Valdimar Jóhannsson, Nicolas Winding Refn as well as Harmony Korine, and Kahlil Joseph, sold out AMC theatres in seconds, necessitating hundreds of additional showings around the country.
Travis Scott is at the pinnacle of his skills as a performer, songwriter, producer, and collaborator on ‘UTOPIA,’ showing once again that nobody sounds like Travis. It cements him as the culture’s preeminent sonic pioneer and is expected to be one of the year’s biggest records.
