Taylor Swift’s New Album Updates: After winning Best Pop Vocal Album and celebrating the special moment during the 2024 Grammys on Sunday night, the famed artist gave credit for his new song. The singer shared that she will be releasing a new album in April.
She received 13 Grammy Awards, with her album Midnights winning Best Pop Vocal Album. As a subtle hint about Rape TV, this unexpected announcement thrilled the entire fanbase.
Swift said while accepting the award, “This is my 13th Grammy,” and continued, “I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I want to say ‘thank you’ to the fans by telling you a secret I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years — my brand new album comes out April 19.”
After creating an official account, he has recently posted the cover page of the song. However, The Tortured Poet’s Department is the name of the album.
He received a total of 52 Grammy nominations throughout his career.
She captioned, “All’s fair in love and poetry… The new album, THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. Out April 19.”
Swift also shared a photo of her writing, teasing further about the album: “And so I enter into evidence / My tarnished coat of arms / My muses, acquired like bruises / My talismans and charms / The tick, tick, tick of love bombs / My veins of pitch-black ink / All’s fair in love and poetry.”
According to the teaser on Swift’s website, the album features 16 songs on the standard tracklist.
