Official Synopsis: 1980 Chief (Mario Van Peebles) returns from years of hiding in Mexico to claim stolen reparations gold hidden in the hills of Montana but is chased by ANGEL (William Mapother), whose rationale to the gold leaves a trail of dead bodies.
The film stars are Mario Van Peebles as Chief, Whoopi Goldberg as Stagecoach Mary, Cedric the Entertainer, Edward James Olmos, John Carroll Lynch, William Mapother as Angel, and M. Emmet Walsh.

The film is set to be released on March 01, 2024, in the United States. Outlaw Posse is produced by Kip Konwiser and Joshua Russell.

According to Complex, Van Peebles said in a statement, “No doubt the making of OUTLAW POSSE has been a labor of love! We had a blast making a badass Western that reflects how really wild and diverse the West was,”
“In the feature, the rough posse of outlaws go after the gold, but they also stand up in defiance against unfair regulations, declaring that when laws are unjust, the just become outlaws!”
He added, “It’s been over 30 years since we released our classic Posse, starring my father Melvin and I, and I can’t wait for fans to now meet the new Outlaws,”
