The film is based on the book Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany by Donald L, released in 2007, and reveals the actions of the United States Army Air Forces’ 100th Bomb Group during World War I, Second war.
The series is a sequel to Band of Brothers (2001) and The Pacific (2010). It is also the first series to be produced by Apple Studios in collaboration with Platon and Ablin Television.
Masters of the Air will be released on Apple TV+ on January 26, 2024. Masters of the Air is expected to be captured in HBO’s coveted Sunday 9 pm time slot.
The show was developed at HBO as early as 2013 when Oprah TV signed Spielberg, Hanks, and others to appear on the platform as part of their plan.
