The ‘You’re Beautiful’ hitmaker took to social media from the closet to reveal that his follow-up to 2019’s ‘Once Upon a Mind’ will be published on October 27, as well as sharing his new rock song ‘Beside You’ about ‘being with ‘the one’.

James said in a statement about the tune: “It’s like a celebration. James – who is married to Sophia Wellesley, mother of his two sons.
“An upbeat banger about finally being with the one you’ve been searching for your whole life.”
In the Instagram clip, evidently joking whilst holding a straight face, James Blunt says: “Hey folks, I’m locked in a cupboard. So If you don’t hear from me again, please pass on the news. I’ve got a new album out on October 27th called ‘Who We Used To Be’ and you can pre-order it now. And my new single ‘Beside You’ is out today.”
Meanwhile, the album cover shows James Blunt as a little boy playing with a small plane, indicating that it is an album of deep thought.
‘The Stars Beneath My Feet’ sold over 100,000 copies. The new record follows up on his recent greatest hits collection.
