Finally, the new season of Virgin River is here! Always Originals has been a favorite of ours in Vegas Life since it premiered in 2019, and the latest installment proves there are still plenty of interesting stories to be found.
The series follows the people’s daily lives of the fictional Northern California town of Virgin River, including nursemaid Mel and her boyfriend, local bar owner Jack. In such a small town, gossip travels fast, and there’s no shortage of drama.
The series is based on the novels by Robin Carr and stars Alexandra Breckenridge as Mel and Martin Henderson as Jack, her fiancé and owner of Jack’s Bar.
In Season 5, Mel and Jack face new challenges as they prepare for the arrival of their baby while also dealing with the aftermath of a wildfire that threatens the town.

Virgin River Season 5 is a Netflix series that continues the romantic and dramatic adventures of Mel Monroe, a nurse practitioner who moves to the small town of Virgin River after a personal tragedy.
Other characters include local doctor Doc Mullins, who suffers from vision loss; Hope, his wife and the mayor of Virgin River; Preacher, the chef at Jack’s Bar who has a secret crush on Paige, a woman fleeing from her abusive ex-husband; and Charmaine, Jack’s ex-girlfriend who is pregnant with his twins.
The series also includes some new additions to the cast, such as Denny, the doctor’s grandson with a terminal illness; Bree, Jack’s sister, a lawyer; and Todd, Charmaine’s new fiancé, who is controlling and manipulative. You can watch Virgin River Season 5 on Netflix. The first ten episodes are available now, while the last two episodes will be released as a holiday special on November 30.
