Music Style and Sound
The soundtrack focuses on heavy brass, dark strings, and industrial textures, giving the film a gritty and muscular sound. The orchestral portions of the score were recorded with a 65-piece string-and-brass ensemble (the Hollywood Studio Symphony), which composer Bobby Krlic then layered with additional electronic, industrial, and band-driven production — the hybrid approach that gives the score both its physical, orchestral weight and its darker, industrial edge.
The song “Like a Drum” by RZA is used during a major action sequence and reflects the film’s raw energy and street-level intensity.
