The Score & Composer: Ruth Barrett
Ruth Barrett composed the music for Sanditon, bringing the same lush, character-driven sensibility she is known for from period dramas such as Victoria and The Durrells, as well as the thriller Bloodlands.
Her Sanditon score blends original orchestral themes with traditional folk tunes and classical pieces fitting the Regency setting. For the third and final season, Barrett shared composing duties with Jon Wygens and David Schweitzer.
