After a decade-long Break, Rock Legends Creed Will Reunite for a Spectacular Comeback Show.
The rock band “My Sacrifice,” which consists of Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips, haven’t shared the stage since December 2012, but they’ll do so again in 2013.
The band made the following statement on Wednesday, July 19: “Creed Nation, the wait is over!
“We are beyond stoked to announce that we will be reuniting on the Summer of ‘99 Cruise, sailing April 18 – 22, 2024 from Miami, FL to Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl.”
The cruise will also feature “very special guests” 3 Doors Down.
Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, The Verve Pipe, Tantric, Dishwalla, Veruca Salt member Louise Post, and Nine Days round up the remainder of the roster.
Meanwhile, the band hinted at future plans, which may include additional tour dates.
They added: “We’ve got a lot more in store…”
After Scott App left the group to pursue a solo career in 2004, Brian, Mark, and Scott Phillips created Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy.
Their last performance was about ten and a half years ago, and they later got back together in 2009.
Their final album ‘Full Circle’ also emerged in 2009, while their prior recordings – 1997’s ‘My Own Prison’, 1999’s ‘Human Clay’ and 2001’s ‘Weathered’ – yielded singles like ‘With Arms Wide Open’, ‘One final Breath’ and ‘Higher’.
Phillips intimated three years ago that a reunion might be in the works.
Creed told Anne Erickson at the time: “We’re all in a good spot right now. We feel like we have a good relationship amongst the four of us.”
The drummer mentioned that there was “no specific timetable” and that there had been “some chatter” even back then.
He added: “We tend to check up on each other when it’s birthdays and holidays, things like that. So, there has been some chatter, and there’s no specific timetable for anything or no specific plans, but it’s a possibility down the road.”
