Payday 3 takes place after the end of Payday 2, where the Payday Gang went their separate ways and abandoned the life of crime, but being double-crossed and losing all their money causes the Payday Gang to return to a life of crime.

Gustavo Coutinho Silva Lopes, known as Gustavo Coutinho or simply Coutinho, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for Atlético Goianiense, on loan from Fortaleza.
He was born on 19 January 1999 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gustavo Coutinho began his career at Audax Rio and represented Botafogo before moving to Portugal with Atlético club Alcanense at the age of 17.
He made his senior debut with the Alcanense first team on 26 March 2017. In 2018, he returned to Brazil and signed a contract with Fortaleza.
Gustavo Coutinho has also played on loan for clubs such as Cabofrense, Operacio Ferroviario, Botafogo-PB, and Sport Recife. As of 15 September 2023, he has scored a total of 31 goals in his career.

PayDay 3 Soundtrack (Development)
Developer Starbreeze Studios announced in May 2016 that Payday 3 was in development at Overkill Software after Starbreeze acquired the rights to the intellectual property for approximately US$30 million.
In March 2021, Plyon (formerly Koch Media) committed to pay €50 million to assist in the development and marketing of the game, including over 18 months of post-launch support using the game as a service model. Payday 3 was developed using Unreal Engine 4 but will be upgraded to use Unreal Engine 5 after launch.
On January 1, 2023, a teaser trailer titled A New Criminal Don was released, revealing its logo. The console versions will also be identical versions of the game to those on the PC platform, unlike its predecessor. Overkill says this is due to the game being created using the Unreal Engine.
In June 2023, Overkill announced that the game would be released on September 21, 2023, and that Silver and Gold bundles would be available for pre-order. Early access will be given on September 18th.
