Who composed the Elsbeth Soundtrack?
David Buckley composed the music for the Elsbeth pilot episode. He is known for his work on The Sandman (2022) and Papillon (2017).
His well-known film scores include The Town, Jason Bourne, The Forbidden Kingdom, and Angel Has Fallen.
He is also the composer of the television series The Good Wife and its spinoff, The Good Fight, and he earned an Emmy Award nomination in 2017 for Outstanding Theme Music for The Good Fight. Buckley’s connection to that franchise (Elsbeth is a Good Wife/Good Fight spinoff) is why he was brought on to score the Elsbeth pilot.
His additional music scores include Flushed Away, The Number 23, Shrek the Third, Gone Baby Gone, Arthur Christmas, Fifty Shades Freed, Fifty Shades Of Grey, and others.
Composer Siddhartha Khosla (known for This Is Us, Only Murders in the Building, and Paradise) took over as the series’ primary composer starting with Episode 2 and has scored the show ever since, blending live orchestra with electronic textures to match Elsbeth’s quirky, off-beat investigative style.
