Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Soundtrack Overview
Milan Records issued two separate albums: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (Original Series Score) and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (Original Series Soundtrack). Both arrived digitally on premiere day.
The score album blends electronics, atmosphere and kinetic energy, according to the label. It leans on tension for the action and on quieter material for the character moments.
The songs album pulls from hip-hop, electronic, alternative and underground scenes. Several of its tracks, including You Can’t Run From Me, were released as singles before the premiere.
The original series followed the same two-part pattern. Its score and songs album came from Akira Yamaoka, Marcin Przybyłowicz and P.T. Adamczyk, with Franz Ferdinand‘s “This Fffire” as the opening theme.
CD Projekt Red’s music ties to Milan Records go beyond anime, as our Milan Records The Witcher 3 soundtrack guide shows.
Who Composed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Soundtrack?
The score was composed by Tsuneo Imahori, a Japanese guitarist and composer born in 1962. He took up acoustic guitar at twelve and later formed the band Tipographica in 1986 with saxophonist Naruyoshi Kikuchi and pianist Akira Minakami.
Imahori is best known for Trigun, Gungrave and Hajime no Ippo (released in the U.S. as Fighting Spirit). He also contributed tracks or guitar work to Cowboy Bebop, Wolf’s Rain and Texhnolyze.
Director Kai Ikarashi has said Imahori’s compositions helped drive the imagery rather than simply sit behind it.
The original songs come from a wider group: Rico Nasty, Petite Meller (with Oslo Green), BIJI, Piernikowski, DOUDOU, Corbin, Kalman Chodakiewitz and Eli Shiffman.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Score Highlights
“Welcome Back to Night City” opens the score album and works as the franchise’s return card. Its title points straight back to the setting of the first series.
“Red Spark Disruption” (3:47) and “Apex” (3:14) sit among the longer action-leaning cues, judging by their titles and placement. They are likely candidates for the series’ fiercest set pieces.
“Digital Parasite” is the longest score cue at 4:59. Its title suggests a netrunner-themed piece, which would fit D’s storyline.
“Samba de Santo Domingo” stands out as the only title on the album with a clear regional music reference. It hints at a break from the electronic palette.
“Forgiveness” (3:51) and “Reassurance” (4:05) are among the longest quiet-sounding titles. They likely cover the emotional beats the label describes.
“Leaving the City” closes the album at 2:36, giving the 39-track run a clear endpoint.
Scene links for these cues are inferred from track titles and durations, not from official cue sheets.
