Who Composed the Little Wing Soundtrack?
Anne Nikitin is a Canadian composer based in London, UK. Her debut film score was for the BAFTA-winning documentary The Imposter (2012, dir. Bart Layton), which The Guardian called “a classy score.” She’s since scored I.S.S., One Day, Hijack, The Dropout, and Mothers’ Instinct. For Little Wing, Nikitin blended synthesizers and her own voice for the film’s lighter moments with solo violin for its more serious beats, and brought in post-punk artist Paris Hurley for vocals reflecting the main character’s emotional arc. The score was released digitally by Lakeshore Records on March 15, 2024.
