Who Composed the Yu Yu Hakusho Soundtrack?
Yutaka Yamada wrote the original music for Netflix’s Yu Yu Hakusho. Yamada is a Japanese composer known for scoring several of Netflix’s biggest Japanese live-action and anime adaptations, including Alice in Borderland, Tokyo Ghoul, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Kingdom, Vinland Saga, and Inuyashiki. For Yu Yu Hakusho, Yamada built an orchestral-electronic hybrid score around numbered “Suite” cues, plus two vocal collaborations with singer Bobby John (“YYH” and “Yankee for Life”) and a guest feature from Kocho on “Final Crossing.”
