The Baxters is a Prime Video faith-based family drama based on Karen Kingsbury’s bestselling “Redemption” book series, developed by Roma Downey. All three seasons (36 episodes total) were released together on March 28, 2024, produced by Downey and Mark Burnett’s LightWorkers Media alongside Will Packer Media and Amazon MGM Studios. As of 2026, no fourth season has been officially confirmed — reporting from early 2025 indicated Kingsbury and Amazon were in talks about a renewal, but Prime Video has not announced a decision, so Season 3 remains the most recent chapter of the story.

Who Composed The Baxters Soundtrack?
According to Film Music Reporter, The Baxters is scored by Felix Erskine and Dylan Hart. Correction: an earlier version of this page paired Felix Erskine with a second name, “Dylan C. Jones,” and attributed that person a bio built from Michael Giacchino’s real credits (Soul, Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, The Lion King). That was a factual error — those credits belong to Giacchino, not to anyone connected with The Baxters, and no composer named “Dylan C. Jones” is verifiably linked to this show. We’ve corrected the credit to Dylan Hart, per Film Music Reporter’s coverage of the series’ March 2024 premiere.
- Felix Erskine: Classically trained at the Royal Academy of Music in classical guitar, orchestration, and composition. He is the principal composer and founder of Cavalry Music, a Los Angeles-based scoring house known for trailer and film work.
- Dylan Hart: Credited alongside Erskine as co-composer for The Baxters per Film Music Reporter; we did not find an extensive independently verifiable public biography beyond this credit, so we’re not padding it out with unconfirmed details.
The series’ main title theme song, “Family,” was written and performed separately by singer-songwriter Tyler Russell and released alongside the show’s March 2024 premiere.
