Music in Rachid Badouri: Les fleurs du tapis

As a stand-up special, this title doesn’t have a traditional film or TV score. It does, however, feature licensed music from Quebec artists, including “Jamais de la vie” by Loud, a 2019 single from his album Tout ça pour ça. We’re intentionally not reproducing song lyrics here — both because doing so risks copyright issues, and because an earlier version of this page contained a garbled, inaccurate attempt at transcribing the lyrics that didn’t reflect the actual French lyrics of the song. If you want to hear “Jamais de la vie” in full, it’s available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms directly from Loud’s catalog.

You can find more of Loud’s music, along with other artists featured across our site, on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

If you are a music lover and want to explore more soundtracks, then this is the best platform for you; here, you can explore more soundtracks on TV Soundtracks.

Reception to the special has been mixed: critics have praised Badouri’s stage presence, physical comedy, and impressions, but some felt the material — particularly the pandemic-era references — arrived a bit late to feel fresh.
