Obliterated is an American action-comedy streaming series created by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald — the same team behind Cobra Kai. All eight episodes were released on Netflix on November 30, 2023. The series stars Nick Zano and Shelley Hennig as members of an elite special-operations team who thwart a bomb threat in Las Vegas, only to discover the bomb they defused was a fake — forcing the now-intoxicated team to find the real one before it’s too late.
Netflix released the show’s full first (and, as it turned out, only) season all at once, and it spent several weeks on Netflix’s global Top 10 list. Below is everything verified about who scored Obliterated, the real song list heard episode by episode, and the show’s current status going into 2026.

Who Composed the Obliterated Score
The original score for Obliterated was co-written by Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson, a composing duo who previously scored Netflix’s Cobra Kai, Florida Man, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, and Wrestlers. For Obliterated, the pair built an EDM-tinged score to match the Las Vegas setting, describing their approach as sounding “like if Jerry Goldsmith went clubbing with David Guetta” — blending 1990s action-film scoring with club and festival electronic music. Milan Records released the official Obliterated (Soundtrack from the Netflix Series) score album digitally on December 1, 2023.
