Who Composed the Music for If I Were Luísa Sonza?
There isn’t a traditional score or outside composer credited to this docuseries. The music featured throughout is Luísa Sonza’s own original material — the series was built around the making of her album Escândalo Íntimo (released August 29, 2023, via Sony Music), and the show follows her writing and recording that record. Crew members Vítor Moraes (sound designer) and Flávia Wolfart (dialogue editor) worked on the series’ audio post-production, but neither is credited as a music composer — an error that appeared in earlier versions of this page.
Songs Featured
Because the docuseries is a first-person look at Sonza recording Escândalo Íntimo, several of the album’s songs appear on screen, including “Chíco,” “Campo de Morango,” “Principalmente Me Sinto Arrasada,” “Penhasco2” (featuring Demi Lovato), and “La Muerte.” A previous version of this article listed a set of generic-sounding song titles (“For You,” “You Want Me,” and similar) attributed to unfamiliar artists — we could not verify any of those tracks against official sources, so they have been removed rather than repeated here.
