Escape from Tarkov Arena Soundtrack (Video Game)

Escape from Tarkov: Arena is a standalone multiplayer tactical shooter spin-off of Battlestate Games’ hardcore looter-shooter Escape from Tarkov. Rather than the extraction-and-loot format of the base game, Arena strips things down to fast, round-based PvP combat, letting fans of the Tarkov gunplay and gear system compete in structured 5v5 matches without the risk of losing their stash.

Arena entered beta on December 17, 2023, via the Battlestate Games launcher, and had its full release on the Epic Games Store on April 10, 2025, alongside a new battle pass system. It launched with an active esports scene from the start — a DreamHack Hannover 2023 tournament became the most-watched Tarkov esports event of that year, with its Head Eyes Showdown grand final peaking at over 121,000 concurrent viewers.

Who Composed the Escape from Tarkov: Arena Music?

Nikita Buyanov, who also goes by the artist name Geneburn, is the Battlestate Games co-founder, director, and composer credited with the audio identity of the Escape from Tarkov series, including its tense, industrial-tinged ambient score. Buyanov built the moody, atmospheric sound design that has defined the base game since its 2017 launch, blending dark electronic textures with orchestral and metal influences.

Escape from Tarkov: Arena reuses this same audio identity rather than introducing an entirely separate score — as of this writing, Battlestate Games has not released a standalone “Arena” soundtrack album distinct from the main Escape from Tarkov OST. Geneburn’s official Escape from Tarkov soundtrack, which underpins the audio across the Tarkov universe including Arena’s menus and ambience, is streamable in full.

Note: We could not verify a separate, officially credited Arena-only tracklist, so we have not published one here rather than guess at song titles. If Battlestate Games releases a dedicated Arena soundtrack in the future, we will update this page.

Where to Play Escape from Tarkov: Arena

Escape from Tarkov: Arena runs on PC via the Battlestate Games launcher and is also available on the Epic Games Store. Players who own the Edge of Darkness (EoD) edition of the base Escape from Tarkov receive Arena as a free add-on; everyone else can purchase it separately. You can listen to Geneburn’s official Escape from Tarkov soundtrack on Apple Music and Amazon Music, or on YouTube.
