Carrie Soundtrack Overview
An official soundtrack album for Carrie has not been announced yet. No label, release date, or tracklist has surfaced through any of the usual score-album channels as of this writing.
This is normal for a series that hasn’t premiered — composer scoring assignments are typically confirmed well before an album materializes. Score albums for the Newton Brothers’ past Flanagan projects have generally arrived around or shortly after release, so an announcement tied to the October 7 premiere would fit that pattern, though this is not yet confirmed.
Who Composed the Carrie Soundtrack?
The score for Carrie is composed by The Newton Brothers, the duo of Andy Grush and Taylor Stewart, confirmed via Film Music Reporter in July 2026.
The Newton Brothers are longtime, frequent collaborators with Mike Flanagan. Their scoring partnership began with Oculus (2013) and has continued across Gerald’s Game (2017), Before I Wake (2018), The Haunting of Hill House (2018), Doctor Sleep (2019), Midnight Mass (2021), The Midnight Club (2022), The Fall of the House of Usher (2023), and The Life of Chuck (2025). Carrie marks their latest work with the director.
Beyond Flanagan’s projects, the duo is also known for horror and genre scores including Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023), Shelby Oaks (2025), and Fear Street: Prom Queen (2025), along with Marvel’s X-Men ’97 (2024) and Daredevil: Born Again (2025).
