Avatar: Seven Havens is the new Paramount+ animated series set 225 years after The Legend of Korra, with Saheli Khan voicing Pavi, Aishu Devan as Nisha, Major Curda as Jae and Dee Bradley Baker as the cat-monkeys. It follows a young earthbender who learns she is the next Avatar.
The music is a big part of why this show feels different. Jeremy Zuckerman, the composer behind every Avatar series, swapped the franchise’s folk instruments for a synth-led sound built for a broken, futuristic world.
Book 1 (Survival) now has its own album. Republic Records is releasing a 36-track collection of the season’s score on October 30, 2026.

Avatar: Seven Havens Soundtrack Overview
The album collects selections from the original music of Book 1: Survival, the first 13 episodes of the series. It is a score album, not a songs album, so every track is Zuckerman’s original music.
The sound is electronic from the first second. Co-creator Bryan Konietzko wanted the show scored entirely with synthesizers, and Zuckerman has said the approach let him go bigger and more abstract than the chamber sound he used on Korra.
Strings still appear, and the franchise’s older themes pop up now and then. That mix is what keeps the score feeling like Avatar even in a new setting.
Our Paramount+ soundtrack coverage has more scores from the platform, including the MobLand soundtrack (2026).
Who Composed Avatar: Seven Havens Soundtrack?
Jeremy Zuckerman composed the music for Avatar: Seven Havens, and Film Music Reporter reported his return in July 2025. He has scored the franchise since Avatar: The Last Airbender debuted in 2005.
Zuckerman was born on July 31, 1975, in Newburgh, New York. He studied jazz and computer music at Berklee College of Music, then earned a master’s in modern composition at CalArts.
In 2004 he co-founded the music company The Track Team with Benjamin Wynn. The pair scored The Last Airbender and Korra together, and the company wrapped up in 2017. His full career is outlined on Wikipedia.
His electronic background made this job a natural fit. In an interview with BuzzFeed, he said computer music was his focus in school.
Varijashree Venugopal, a Carnatic singer, is credited alongside Zuckerman on the main title. He found her while reworking the opening, and he has said her voice is used sparingly so it lands when it appears.

Avatar: Seven Havens Score Highlights
Avatar: Seven Havens Main Title is the cue to start with. Zuckerman built it using konnakol, a South Indian vocal counting method, so Carnatic rhythm sits inside the electronic texture. He reworked his first draft before landing on this version.
Avatar: Seven Havens Main Title (Composer Version) closes the album as a 36-second alternate take. It is a small bonus for anyone who wants to hear how the opening was shaped.
We Are Her is the longest piece on the album at 3:26. Demon Storm (3:15) and The Faceless Queen (3:07) are the next longest, so these three are likely where the score stretches out the most.
Squad Leader Jae and You Can Airbend appear to center on the airbender Jae, judging by their titles. That scene link is our reading of the titles, not something the album notes confirm.
Seven Havens End Credits is only 46 seconds, but it matters. TVLine notes that a kalimba lullaby from Episode 3 plays under the end credits of each episode, so this short cue is the one to check for that melody.
The same TVLine piece points out a quiet callback in the very first episode, where a guard whistles “Four Seasons,” a song Uncle Iroh sang in The Last Airbender. If you like animated series with futuristic sounds, the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 soundtrack (2026) is worth a look too.
