Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe is an upcoming 2023 romantic drama film written and directed by H. Alberto. It is an adaptation of Benjamin Alire Saenz’s 2012 novel of the same name. It is the story of two Mexican-American teenage boys who find an instant connection, set in El Paso, Texas in 1987. It stars Max Pelayo and Reese Gonzales. However, Veronica Falcon, Kevin Alejandro, Eva Longoria, and Eugenio Derbez complete the rest of the cast.

Studio and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe is about two teenage boys who meet in a catalog pool and become friends. They are both loners who feel isolated from their coworkers and their relatives. They share their thoughts, feelings, dreams, and secrets with each other.

They also explore their sexual identity and their love for each other. The novel explores themes such as friendship, family, identity, sexuality, culture, and art. It is a moving story that is both realistic and poetic.

Aristotle and Dante premiered at the 47th International Toronto Film Festival on September 9, 2022. It was released theatrically in the United States on September 8, 2023, by Blue Fox Entertainment.
