Above The Rim Soundtrack: Above the Rim is an American sports drama film co-written and directed by Jeff Pollack, who made his directorial debut in 1994. It’s from a script by Barry Michael Cooper, written by Benny Medina.

Stars include Duane Martin, Tupac Shakur, Leon and Marlon Wayans. They are considered the conclusion of Cooper’s “Harlem Trilogy” (the previous films being New Jack City (1991) and Sugar Hill (1994)).

Release date: March 23, 1994 (United States)

Official Synopsis: This is the story of a promising high school basketball star and his relationships with two brothers, one a drug dealer and the other a former basketball star who fell on hard times and is now employed as a security guard.
